Japanese Drumming For Kids
This taiko workshop is just for kids! The Junior Taiko Workshop is designed to introduce younger students (ages 6 to 15 years old) to the art of Japanese drumming. Students will learn fundamental taiko techniques and rhythms, discover how to use their whole body to play, learn a short song together, and get to hit REALLY BIG DRUMS!
We’ll supply the drums and drumming accessories. Students will be split into two groups by age for the main portion of the instruction, and then the whole group will come together for a final activity. Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay and watch the class.
Advance registration and payment are required for this workshop.

$20 for each additional student in the same family
